Kathy had a fall last week & injured her ankle. She's out of commision for awhile.

John is doing very well with the pacemaker. His current problem is a protruding disk in his neck that is causing a great deal of pain. He has been getting injections of steriods directly into his spine to reduce the inflammation, but it's still hurting from time to time. Surgery is an option if these injections don't work out.
My mom is currently in the hospital with heart issues. She is fighting a recurrent malignant melanoma (is that redundant? Is there such a thing as a benign melanoma?) Anyway, we are hooked up with MD Anderson and will be going down there time and again. I'm hoping that they can arrange for her chemotherapy to be administered locally here in Marble Falls. That would be such a great help and would really cut down on the expense. I'm hoping that she will be released from the hospital tomorrw as she is supposed to go on a trip with my sister to Florida next week.
I am doing fine, other than being pretty tired.

Glyn & Bonnie Cherry Sept 13, 2012
I spoke with Bonnie Cherry yesterday. Glyn is in the Oaks Nursing Home in Burnet. He fell while out walking a few weeks ago & recovered from that but then had a spell with his Chron's disease which required him to spend some time in the nursing home. Bonnie is hoping to get him back home in a few days.
