 Good Morning Cuzzins! In honor of Memorial Day we will be dressing in patriotic colors of red, white, and blue! Eloi and Linda will be hosting our dance and we appreciate you! I heard a rumor…the Waterloo’s may be coming either this week or next to recover their banner. J Love those Loo’s!! The nominating committee has announced their choice for officers next year. They are as follows: President: Gene and Charlotte Broadway Vice President: Charlie and Rita Secretary: Paul and Pepper Branch Treasurer: Debbi Delosua The club will vote on this June 2. Although not a part of the board, Cindy has agreed to be the “Fun Boss” planning the “First Thursday” fun dances for the next year. Thanks Cindy!! June 9th will be graduation for our new dancers. It’s almost here! The club is so excited to have you start dancing with us all night long! At the Fun Dance on June 2, I will be celebrating my retirement! This week Gary and Jeannie will be hosting, thanks Cuzzins! Reminder - we will be dark on June 16th for the State dance. The Broadways signed up for hosting on that date, may I please move you to June 30th? Important dates: June 2 – Fun dance, help me celebrate my retirement! June 16 – Cuzzins dark, no dance June 16-19 State Square dance convention in Waco, everyone can dance! June 22-25 Iowa National Square Dance convention August 6 – Cuzzins Paradise Dance Stay well! Greetings!
How about those new dancers!!?? It was amazing to see you do the hot hash so well! Sometimes when you don’t have time to think …it just works out!! Thanks to all who came and made the First Thursday Fun Dance…. FUN! The theme for our June Fun Dance will be…..MY RETIREMENT CELEBRATION!!! This is my second retirement for a total of 41 working years. Done! Poke me with a fork! I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than with my square dancing friends! Dress casual and be ready for some good dancing and crazy games. Let’s meet at the China Kitchen at 5:00. I do have a special request! I would like to dance a tip with all those who helped me when I was learning to dance. The last dance will be reserved for Walt! Starting in July, we will be meeting for dinner on a different week, the new board will notify you. 10 days to go….I can’t wait to celebrate with my Cuzzins! Graduation is getting close! Dancers!
First Thursday Fun Dance is here!! Party time! Let’s celebrate Cinco De Mayo with good music, good food, and good friends. Jim and Nancy are hosting this dance. Bring your snacks to share and a smile! Let’s meet this week at Margarita’s at 5:00 in keeping with the occasion. It’s right next door and that should give us plenty of time. Join in the fun! FYI - · Graduation is June 9 for our new dancers. · The nominating committee may be approaching you for a board position for this next year.
