Thursday will be the first fall dance! Goodbye summer…good riddance! I am looking forward to cooler weather!
Kelly and Eric will be hosting this week and the Orr’s are signed up for Oct. 1. They are hard at work on our behalf! I still have many slots open for hosting this next quarter. Please choose the date that is best for you. Also, I am bringing a signup sheet for those attending the demo dance in Llano on Oct. 17th at 11:00 AM. Brad Caldwell will call for us. It sounds like a lot of fun and remember we all need to be in square dance attire!!! We will be bringing cards to capture potential new class members information. We can call them when lessons begin.
FYI- Our Christmas party will be on Dec. 10th. Set up start at 5:00. The club is providing the meat this year, previous members will be asked to bring a dessert, and the rest of us will provide side dishes. Should be fun, fun!!
We are trying to get together refresher lessons for those who have not danced in awhile. It will be held at 6:30 and the dance will start at 7:00. Hopefully we can get a square and the class will start Oct. 1 for about 10 weeks. If you know someone that has danced before, give them some encouragement to come. I miss seeing a bunch of dancers and I know you do too.
Our Halloween Dance is Oct. 29. Plan your costume! See you Thursday“sweet thangs”….
This Thursday is fun dance!! Come celebrate our beloved football season! Wear your favorite HS, college or NFL garb…and bring some tasty food to share and let’s have a great Cuzzin tailgate dance party!

Friday demo is almost here. Please be at the Community Center in Bertram by 5:00sharp. Wear whatever pleases you. We dance at 5:30….plan to stay awhile afterwards so we can enjoy your company. They have BBQ and dancing!! Hope we do good…fingers are crossed! But if we do mess up, keep that smile on your face!!!!!!!!!
The demo in Llano is planned for Oct. 17th at 11:00 – 11:30. I don’t have directions yet but it is at the fair, down by the river, in the big white tent. For this, we will need to wear our best costumes. Brad Caldwell will call for us and give the history of square dancing. Wayne, will you please forward this info. to Brad for us?? Thanks!
Board member reminder: Please be at the church at 6:00 for a meeting thisThursday. If anyone has an idea for the upcoming season (Halloween, Christmas party, etc.) let a board member know so we can consider it. We like new ideas!
