Greetings!
How about those new dancers!!?? It was amazing to see you do the hot hash so well! Sometimes when you don’t have time to think …it just works out!! Thanks to all who came and made the First Thursday Fun Dance…. FUN! The theme for our June Fun Dance will be…..MY RETIREMENT CELEBRATION!!! This is my second retirement for a total of 41 working years. Done! Poke me with a fork! I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than with my square dancing friends! Dress casual and be ready for some good dancing and crazy games. Let’s meet at the China Kitchen at 5:00. I do have a special request! I would like to dance a tip with all those who helped me when I was learning to dance. The last dance will be reserved for Walt! Starting in July, we will be meeting for dinner on a different week, the new board will notify you. 10 days to go….I can’t wait to celebrate with my Cuzzins! Graduation is getting close! First Thursday Fun Dance is here!! Party time! Let’s celebrate Cinco De Mayo with good music, good food, and good friends. Jim and Nancy are hosting this dance. Bring your snacks to share and a smile! Let’s meet this week at Margarita’s at 5:00 in keeping with the occasion. It’s right next door and that should give us plenty of time. Join in the fun! FYI - · Graduation is June 9 for our new dancers. · The nominating committee may be approaching you for a board position for this next year. Good Morning Dancers,
Thank you to everyone who helped in anyway with the Wildflower Dance. By all accounts there was a lot of fun goin’ round. I want to give a special shout out to Linda Freitag who headed up all the effort to put on a big dance. Great Job! I have a special request Cuzzins. Beverly is not feeling well and the club needs someone to step up and host Thursday. I’m sure I can work out a trade if necessary. Please let me know quickly if you can help out! This week will be our “Fun Dance” and the theme is flowers, flowers, flowers! We will meet at Dock’s at 5:00 and bring a coupon if you have one. There will be extra’s for the $9.99 prime rib special. Walt and I will be hosting this week. As always expect some silliness!! Wildflower dance is almost here! This Thursday is our monthly “Fun Dance”. We will be meeting at the Bluebonnet at 5:30 for dinner and visiting. New dancers are encouraged to come and join in! Hope you can make it. If anyone has suggestions for a different place for next month, let’s hear it. The Spencers will be hosting this week aka “The Queen”! You are loved and appreciated! Hello Dancers! March 10th Garry and Jeanie Taylor will be hosting our dance. Sweet! The turnout for last week’s dance was terrific and so was the turnout for the dinner at the Bluebonnet. Let’s do that again! Joe suggested next month we meet at Dock’s. They have a delicious prime rib for $9.99 with the coupon. Find a coupon (save extras if you can for others who don’t have one) and let’s share a good time and good food! Yummmeee. Wildflower dance is fast approaching. We need your help in supplying the silent auction. Make up a basket, bring an original item, baked good, etc. Please don’t give an old regift that nobody wants! Expired food does not make a good auction item ! J Be thinking! We will also need help with set up, clean up, registration, food, etc. Our Wildflower dance has always been very successful and we hope that this year will be the same. It’s up to all of us including new dancers. We need everyone. Please advertise if you go to another club. Talk it up Cuzzins!
