WOW!! We had 32 people visit last week for our open house - congrats to all who helped get the word out!! Thank you, Angels, for helping and Wayne for the great instruction!
Please bring a friend or family member to visit our square dance club on Thursday! Club 50 lesson schedule 6:00 - 7:30 pm: 12 January, Club 50 lessons start, $45 p/p 19 January, Club 50 lessons continue, $55 p/p (late fee applies), no new students may join after this date Please consider being an Angel for our new students, we can’t do it without you! Paul and I will host this week, please consider bringing something good to eat in case we have guests again. Thank you for your generosity. We are NOT meeting for dinner this week. Happy New Year to all!
Hope everyone had a wonderful, blessed Christmas. Congratulations to all our Plus graduates! Thank you, Wayne, for another fantastic job instructing us! Regular dancing starts this week at 7 pm. Merry Christmas everyone!!!
Joe and I are hosting this week. This will be our "Christmas Dance" in that we want you to wear your Christmas outfits and bring finger foods for our "party" yea!!!! Weather is looking warmer so no excuses (unless you are out of town) Also, this will be our last week of Plus lessons so congratulations to all our new official plus dancers. Speaking of new dancers, just want to remind experienced dancers to be courteous with our new dancers. They need floor time with Plus as they needed floor time after learning Mainstream. We want to be THE CLUB where everyone loves to come. Remember we WILL be dancing next week also. Our New Years dance. The Hollenbecks Get Together on Friday New Year's Eve eve. Hello Cuzzins!
Have you been enjoying our fabulous Texas weather?! These last few days have been down right balmy compared to the north and east. Hosting December birthdays this week are Bob and Marie. Next week, 22 December, our hosts are Debbie and Joe - wear your Christmas outfits! Plus lessons continue this week and next - students and angles please continue - we’re almost finished! We had a tough time last week learning Relay the Ducey, but don’t give up, we’ll get it!! (That includes you, too, Wayne, please don't give up on us!) Season’s Greetings Cuzzins!
If you have been watching the weather reports you will know that an arctic blast is coming our way tomorrow with winds guaranteed to blow our skirts around! Don’t be concerned about the cold though, because when you come to dance you will stay nice and warm! Judi and Michael are hosting this week and if you would like to meet for dinner with other Cuzzins we are meeting at Chilis in Marble Falls at 5:00 pm. Hello Cuzzins!
Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. Now it’s time for everyone to work off those potatoes and stuffing! Our hosts for the December 1 dance, the Fun Dance, are Paul & Pepper - hey, that’s us! Cindy is promising a complete surprise to include prizes. Be sure to attend. Hello Cuzzins!
Isn’t this weather wonderful?! Does it make you want to play hooky? Go ahead and play hooky during the day, but come to square dancing in the evening - that is where all the cool folks are anyway! Hosts this week are Eric and Kelley. Either way we are celebrating November birthdays this week. Next week is Thanksgiving, give thanks with your family and friends for all the blessings God has given you. We are dark Thanksgiving week. Next dancing date is 01 December, Paul and I will host the Fun Dance. Cindy says the Fun Dance will be really fun and a complete surprise…and there will be prizes! Hello Cuzzins!
Veteran’s Day Greetings! Thank you for all you have done for the United States of America! Happy Birthday Marines - 241 years old! Please wear your red/white/blue for this special day. It you are interested in going out to eat with some of the cuzzins, they are meeting at the new Pho South at 5:00 pm (near the bridge at 281 in Marble Falls) before the dance. We will have a new sign-up sheet available on the table, please look it over and sign up to host a date. Just to point out, we will dance on both 22 and 29 December. Rita and Charlie are hosting this week followed by Eric and Kelly on the 17th where we’ll celebrate November birthdays. We will NOT dance on 24 November. We hope you’ll be home enjoying Thanksgiving.
