News: Country Cuzzins
7/26/2016
Hello Cuzzins! We are approaching the fourth Thursday of the month, which is our “Wear Your Square Dance Clothes” event. This may help those who give themselves excuses (like “it's too hot” - c’mon...let us hear you whine!) to wear their outfits. If you prefer, it can also be “Wear The Club Colors” night - those colors which are from our banner, royal blue, black and white. Or, if you prefer, one could also wear the t-shirts that Sharon sold or the vests that Debbie made. There is nothing specific, nothing required for anyone to do, it is purely optional - but we’d sure like to see everyone participate! Dance starts at 7:00 p.m. at the Marble Falls First United Methodist Church Debbie and Joe Delosua will be our hosts for this Thursday, July 28. The following week will be Paul and Pepper Branch - remember that the first Thursday each month is when everybody brings refreshment goodies!. If you have never hosted, or just want a refresher, please join us at the dance hall at 6:30 p.m. for the set-up, which is super-simple - iced water, hot coffee, chair and tables layout. To all those who have committed to host through September, we thank you most humbly. HEY! Don’t forget that our Fajita Dance is just around the corner …. are you ready? There’ll be great food and lots of fun. Oh, and there’ll be dancin’ too! Please come to the tables in the back of our dance hall this Thursday so you can sign up to help us out by bringing some much needed food items. This is a major fund-raiser for the benefit of our club and, with everybody pitchin’ in, it will be a great success. Saturday, 6th of August, at the Boys and Girls Club, 1701 Broadway, in beautiful Marble Falls. Looks like the FunDancers will be having a special dance soon and they got themselves a caller you will be completely comfortable listenin’ to …. so check it out below. Hope you are all happy and healthy and ready to move. See you soon! Paul & Pepper Branch Secretary Country Cuzzins
